An add-on double glazing system for existing single glazed windows, employs a frame (6) which is secured inside the existing frame (13) by wood screws (4). The inside edge of the add-on (16) frame is level with the inside edge (17) of the existing window frame so as not to reduce visibility. Each member (6) of the add-on frame has a cut-out wide enough to hold the glass pane (10) and also a resilient seal (11) so that when the screws are inserted, the seal is compressed against the window frame by the clamping action.
