@@ Identification of cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) epitopes from tumor antigens is essential to the development of peptide vaccines against tumor immunotherapy. Among all the tumor antigens, the caner-testis (CT) antigens are the most widely-studied and promising targets[1].The trophoblast-specific protein PLAC1 (placenta-specific 1) has been recently considered as a member of CT antigens. PLAC1 is from a human X-linked gene with placenta-specific expression, ectopically expressed in a wide range of human malignancies, most frequently in breast cancer, and is involved in the proliferation, migration and invasion of the breast cancer[2].
