The sliding-door for a transportation vehicle, has at least two grooved guides (9,10,13) at the top or bottom of each door which are parallel and one grooved guide (4,6) on the opposing side. At least one of the two upper or lower guides (9,10,13) of each door projects inwardly by an amount defined by the closed by the closed position of the door. Each door is attached to an arm (11,14) and the ends (12,15) of the arms run in guides aligned and joined end to end to form a single guide (13).
