A content synthesis device includes: an input reception section (S11) for receiving input of first content data containing a synthesis script describing the content data synthesis and input of second content data; and a synthesis processing section (S13) for synthesizing the first content data input with the second content data input according to the synthesis script contained in the first content data which has been input. This eliminates the need of preparing a new synthesis script for synthesizing the content data.
