PURPOSE: A method and device for a multidisciplinary analysis and design optimization based on a complex component is provided to define a plurality of components and elements as one complex component when implementing an MDA/MDO(Multidisciplinary Analysis amp; Design Optimization) frame work. CONSTITUTION: A process managing unit(405) creates a process with respect to a multidisciplinary analysis and design optimization using a plurality of elements and components inputted from a user. A complex component creation unit(407) executes a grouping of the elements and components selected by a user in the process, and creates one complex component. A data processing unit(417) stores the process, an element and a component corresponded to the complex component in a data storage(419). An execution flag setting unit(409) sets execution flag information of the complex component. A publication deciding unit(411) sets publication information of the complex component. An interface unit(415) creates a screen including a complex component using the element, the component, the execution flag information, and the publication information, and displays the screen through a display unit(421).
