An image acquisition system includes: a loading unit adapted to deliver a product; a product receiving platform to which the product is fed by the loading unit; a camera adapted to capture an image from a product delivered to the product acquisition platform and to identify a position and an angle of the product based on the captured image; a robot adapted to grab the product from the product receiving platform based on the position and angle identified by the camera; an image acquisition platform on which the gripped product is placed by the robot; an imaging microscope adapted to acquire an image from an upwardly facing surface of the product on the image acquisition platform; and a computer adapted to store the image of the product captured by the imaging microscope. The image acquisition system according to the disclosure can automatically complete image acquisition of various products, thereby improving the efficiency and precision of the image acquisition.
